Background:

      Pastor Kenneth is the middle son of Carl & Eula McNeill of Steeds, N.C., just South of Seagrove in Moore County.  He was saved in 1976 at Union Grove Baptist Church, where he later taught Sunday School.  He was a charter member of Victory Baptist Church in Seagrove, N.C, where he served as a deacon, a trustee, a member of the mission’s team, a Sunday School Teacher and as a member of the Choir.  In 1985 he served as summer Youth Minister, and was ordained there in 1989.

Family

Pastor Kenneth is married to Sherri Annette Hall McNeill and they have four grown children and four precious grandchildren.  Sherri has worked as a potter, bookkeeper, income tax preparer, commercial real estate underwriter, former owner of Sherri’s Bushes & Berries, and is presently a Life Insurance and Financial Investment Consultant with Modern Woodmen of America and Senior Life Insurance Company.  She plays the piano, sings and loves to teach. Their oldest son, Travis, an Electrical Engineer with Black and Veatch, is married to Murphy Pilson, a homemaker and singer of Carthage. They have two daughters, Kenley and Cora. Their daughter, Kenisha, a Vice President with Situs, is married to SSgt. Caleb Steel of Putnam. They reside in Woodbridge, VA., and have two children, Clark and Emeri Joanna.  The McNeill’s have two more sons, Jared, who is the Senior Pastor of Cameron Baptist Church and is presently working on a Double Masters at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Zeb, a Surveyor with Matthews Land Surveying and Mapping, LLC, is pursuing a Geomatics degree at A&T University in Greensboro.  They live in Robbins, N.C.

Greg Pilson - Associate Pastor of Worship

Background

Greg is married to his wife Betsy - a mother, grandmother, ministry partner, and

a School Counselor at North Moore High School. They have been blessed with two amazing daughters, Murphy and Abby. Murphy is married to Travis McNeill, and they have three children: Kenley, Cora, and Carl. Abby is married to Owen Brady. Greg enjoys woodworking, home restoration, gardening, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Ministry Experience

Greg Pilson has served Robbins First Baptist at times as Minister of Youth and

Music since July 1999. Currently, Greg directs the Adult Choir and the Children's

Choir at Robbins First Baptist. A native of Cameron, NC, Greg accepted Jesus as his

personal Savior when he was 11. He began his music ministry at the age of

18, directing music at Cameron Baptist Church. He directed music at

Northside Baptist Church in Greensboro for 10 years until he was called to

Robbins First Baptist. 

Education

Greg received his Bachelor of Music Education from UNC-Greensboro in 1989 and has studied Theology at Campbell University Divinity School. He has been serving in church music ministry for 40 years and is currently retired after teaching music in the public school setting for 30 years.

One of Greg's favorite scriptures passages is Proverbs 16:3

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans."

Background

Pastor Lance was born and raised in the small town of Atwood, TN. He was raised in a Christian home and came to faith in Christ when I was 9 years old. He surrendered to full-time ministry in his freshman year of college at Murray State University, a decision affirmed by my parents and church leadership. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary to better prepare myself his self for ministry and to rightfully handle the Word of God. He met his wife, Deena, in 2017 through a mutual friend at SEBTS, and they have been happily married since February 2020.
